Lobau verteidigen – defend Lobau

Die Klimakrise spitzt sich zu und noch immer werden weitere Autobahnen gebaut! Noch diesen Sommer soll das jahrelang umfochtene Projekt
“Lobau-Tunnel” umgesetzt werden. Drei Milliarden Euro kostet dieser Klimakiller.
Für eine zukunftsfähige Mobilität brauchen wir jedoch nicht noch mehr Autobahnen, sondern sichere Radwege und kostenlosen, sowie gut
ausgebauten öffentlichen Nahverkehr.

Das Naturschutzgebiet in der Lobau ist durch den Bau des Tunnels auf viele Arten gefährdet. Um nur einige aufzuzählen:

Bedrohung des Tiefengrundwassers: Für das Projekt werden in die Dichtwand der Altlast Tanklager Lobau zwei 15m Löcher gebrochen. Zusätzlich kann es durch die Tunnelröhren zu einer unterirdischen Staudammwirkung im Grundwasserstrom kommen.
Das ökologische Gleichgewicht und der Lebensraum vieler dort lebender und gefährdeter Arten wird bedroht.
Es wird nicht wie die ASFINAG behauptet eine “Entlastungsstraße”, sondern neue Autobahnen führen immer zu mehr Verkehr, Abgasen und Lärm
Die Hälfte dieser Autobahn wäre an der Oberfläche und würde gewachsene Siedlungsstrukturen zerstören
Die Ortschaften in der Umgebung wären durch extreme Lärmbelastung und Abgase, die durch Abgasbauwerke ungefiltert ausgestoßen werden, betroffen.

Seit mehr als 10 Jahren laufen Verfahren gegen dieses kapitalorientierte Projekt. Obwohl das Naturschutz Verfahren noch nicht abgeschlossen ist, wird der Boden für den Bau bereits vorbereitet! Eine einfache Mehrheit im Parlament könnte das Projekt jederzeit noch stoppen!
Während aktive Maßnahmen gegen die Klimakatastrophe großteils ausbleiben und immer noch gegen soziale Ungleichheit gekämpft werden muss, ist
Milliarden in ein gefährliches und unnötiges Riesenprojekt zu stecken ein Schlag ins Gesicht.

Lassen wir nicht zu, dass weiterhin solche Unnützprojekte von Staat und Kapital gefördert werden, während alles andere auf der Strecke bleibt. Stoppen wir diese Autobahn!

Let’s stop the motorway!

The climate crisis is intensifying and still more motorways are being built! The Lobau tunnel project, which has been protested against for years, is to be realized this summer. This climate killer will cost three billion euros.
For sustainable mobility, however, we do not need more motorways, but safe cycling paths and free, well-developed public transport.

The nature protection area in the Lobau and the surroundings are
endangered in many ways by the construction of the tunnel. To list just a few:

It is a threat to the undergroundwater in the drinking water protection area: for the project, two 15m holes would be broken into the
sealing wall of the old Lobau fuel depot. In addition, the tunnel tubes may cause an underground dam effect in the groundwater flow.
The ecological balance and the habitat of many species, some of them endangered, would be threatened.
This new motorway would not lead to a “reduction of traffic” as
ASFINAG claims, but would produce additional traffic, exhaust fumes and noise, with the aim of making Austria more attractive as a business location.
Half of this motorway would be on the surface and would destroy established settlement structures.
The surrounding villages would be affected by extreme noise
pollution and exhaust fumes.

Legal proceedings against this capital-oriented project have been going on for more than 10 years. Despite an ongoing nature conservation lawsuit, the ground is already being prepared for construction in Süßenbrunn. A simple majority in parliament could still stop the project
at any time!
While not enough active measures are taken against the climate catastrophe and social equality still has to be fought for, pouring billions into a dangerous and unnecessary giant project is a slap in the face.

Let’s not allow such useless projects to be realized and even promoted by the state and capitalism, while everything else falls by the wayside.
Let’s stop this motorway!

Klimatická kríza vrcholí a stavia sa stále viac diaľnic! Projekt tunela Lobau, ktorý je už roky predmetom sporu, sa má realizovať v lete tohto roku. Tento zabijak klímy bude stáť tri miliardy.
Kríza Corona zintenzívnila a zviditeľnila slabé stránky našej spoločnosti. Pre udržateľnú mobilitu nepotrebujeme viac diaľnic, ale bezpečné cyklotrasy a bezplatnú, ako aj dobre rozvinutú verejnú dopravu.

Zodpovednosť sa presúva medzi ministerstvami a výkonnými poschodiami. Hlavné je, že kapitál presadzuje svoje záujmy!

Prírodná rezervácia v Lobau je výstavbou tunela ohrozená v mnohých ohľadoch. Uveďme len niektoré z nich:

Ohrozenie hlbokých podzemných vôd: V rámci projektu sa do tesniacej steny kontaminovanej lokality nádrží Lobau vyrazia dva 15-metrové vrty. Okrem toho môžu tunelové rúry spôsobiť podzemný priehradový efekt v toku podzemnej vody.
Ekologická rovnováha a životné prostredie mnohých ohrozených druhov, ktoré tam žijú, sú ohrozené.
Nebude to “úľavová cesta”, ako tvrdí rakúska spoločnosť ASFINAG, ale nové diaľnice vždy vedú k zvýšeniu dopravy, výfukových plynov a hluku.
Polovica tejto diaľnice by viedla po povrchu a zničila by vzrastlé sídelné štruktúry
Okolité obce by boli ovplyvnené extrémnym hlukom a výfukovými plynmi vypúšťanými nefiltrovanými štruktúrami výfukových plynov.

Proti tomuto šialenému projektu sa už viac ako 10 rokov vedie konanie. Jednoduchá väčšina v parlamente, ako aj zelený minister dopravy môžu projekt kedykoľvek zastaviť!

Zatiaľ čo klimatická katastrofa pokračuje a sociálna nerovnosť sa naďalej prehlbuje, vynakladanie miliárd na nebezpečný a zbytočný gigantický projekt je fackou do tváre.

Nedovoľme, aby štát a hlavné mesto naďalej financovali takéto zbytočné projekty, zatiaľ čo všetko ostatné pôjde bokom. Zastavme túto diaľnicu!

Zničiť kapitalizmus, nie prírodu!
